TabPilot Expands Capabilities For Mac and Adds Support For iOS 10.3

March 28, 2017 (Atlanta, GA) — Today, TabPilot released an update to their mobile device management system for schools that expands their capabilities for macOS and also adds support for new features in iOS 10.3.

In 2016 TabPilot released MDM support for Mac computers including support for DEP enrollment, inventory, and VPP app distribution. Today, with the release of version 6.2, the Mac capabilities were greatly expanded to include Restriction Profiles with more than 80 options, Settings Profiles with dozens of Finder and login options, and Network Profiles for configuring WiFi settings, distributing certificates and more.

TabPilot is continuing to offer Mac licenses for their MDM for free, one with each iOS license, through the end of this school-year. Also included in TabPilot 6.2 is support for new features in iOS 10.3. Among these features are the ability to play an alert sound on iPads in Lost Mode and support for WiFi Whitelisting to prevent devices from connecting to non-approved networks.

Since 2012, TabPilot has been providing school-specic mobile device management solutions to the K-12 market. TabPilot is being used in schools across the U.S. and worldwide.
